Recovery Housing
At The Jude House, we recognize that the path to long-term recovery extends beyond treatment. Our recovery housing programs provide structured, sober living environments that support sustained healing, personal development, and community reintegration.
We offer two gender-specific housing options tailored to meet the unique needs of our residents: Andy’s House, a supportive sober home for men located in Waldorf, MD, and The Robins Nest, a nurturing recovery residence for pregnant women or women with children in La Plata, MD.
Both homes are MCOR-certified and designed to foster independence, accountability, and connection. Whether helping men reestablish purpose and stability or offering mothers a safe, family-centered space to rebuild their lives, our recovery residences serve as vital bridges from treatment to a thriving future.

Recovery Housing for Men
Andy’s House was established in loving memory of Andy, a devoted member of The Jude House team whose life’s work was rooted in compassion, resilience, and a tireless commitment to helping others find their way out of addiction. Andy was not only a staunch advocate for recovery, but also a mentor and friend to countless individuals navigating their own journeys toward healing. His unique ability to connect with people and offer hope through lived experience left an indelible mark on our community. In his honor, Andy’s House serves as a sober living residence for men transitioning from treatment or active substance use, offering them a structured and supportive environment. Located in Waldorf, Maryland, the home is within walking distance of local businesses, job resource centers, public transportation, and recovery meetings—making it an ideal setting for building independence and stability. A live-in House Manager is present to provide daily oversight, mentorship, and peer support, helping residents remain accountable and empowered as they move forward in their recovery.

The Robins Nest is a specialized recovery housing program designed to support pregnant women and mothers with children as they navigate the path to sobriety and family reunification. Rooted in compassion, stability, and empowerment, The Robins Nest provides a safe and structured environment where women can heal, rebuild their lives, and embrace their roles as mothers with renewed strength. Residents are eligible for up to 12 months of rental assistance, offering critical time and stability for transition into independent living. With on-site support, peer mentorship, and access to community resources, The Robins Nest fosters a nurturing space where both mothers and children can thrive together—free from the challenges of active substance use and co-occurring disorders.
